ENVIRCO INTRODUCES
DUCTED CEILING MODULE HEPA FILTER
FOR USE IN CLEANROOMS WITH CENTRALIZED AIR

Sanford, N.C., March 19, 2003 – Envirco, a manufacturer of air treatment products and systems for ultra-clean environments, has developed the Envirco Ducted Ceiling Module (EDCM), a terminal filter for use in t-bar drop ceilings with central air. The EDCM is a disposable unit that is inexpensive and easily replaceable. It is ideal for cleanrooms in the semiconductor, aerospace, laboratory, medical device manufacturing, photographic processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing and hospital pharmacy sectors, and offers a modular design and filtered air from Class 10 to Class 100. The EDCM is available in the standard 2x4 HEPA configuration. The EDCM is produced at FIAQ’s new world-class manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China.

“The EDCM is the best filter of its kind,” says Jill Neu, Envirco’s General Manager. “Because it is a HEPA filter, it is 99.99% efficient in removing particles 0.3 microns and larger, and its main housing is made of anodized extruded aluminum for improved wear.”

The EDCM weighs less than 35 lbs., is less than 8” tall, has an inlet duct size diameter of 12” and T-bar grid geometry of 23.63”x 47.63” for 1.5” t-bar application. Options include a room side replaceable feature and an air damper.
