100% exhausted, freestanding, vertical laminar
flow clean work station for operations involving
toxic or noxious fumes.
The
Envirco Unimodule METD Series Work Station removes exhaust fumes†
from within the cabinet through its rear plenums and exhaust slots in
the work deck. It has an open front with inward airflow for personnel
protection, while the supply high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter
provides product protection.
Vertical
Laminar Airflow
The Unimodule M-2 negative pressure plenum air supply module provides
an ISO Class 5* (Class 100) environment within the work area that complies
with the latest IEST Recommended Practices. All of the cabinet air along
with any fumes are exhausted to the exterior.

fluorescent lighting provides 150 foot candles (1615 Lux) at the work
surface
- Eggcrate
light diffuser protects the HEPA filter and maintains uniform airflow
velocity within the work area

†Note:
Proper unit operation requires an exhaust system (provided and installed
by others) capacity equal to 125% of the face velocity and air supply
volume. Makeup air must compensate for that exhausted with final exhaust
balancing achieved by a customer provided and installed damper in the
external exhaust duct.
*As defined
by the latest ISO 14644 and IEST Recommended Practices, where particle
count does not exceed 3520 particles, 0.5 µm or larger, per cubic
meter of air.
