The Hospi-Gard^® AirCeil™ is a versatile, self-contained, ceiling-mounted high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration system designed to provide a high velocity airflow pattern to filter out unwanted room particles, including airborne microbiological contamination.

The flexible system can easily and economically create a negative pressure isolation room that meets OSHA and CDC TB guidelines or can be used as a positive pressure clean air recirculating system in clinics, waiting rooms, hospital emergency rooms and other confined areas.

Low Cost Isolation Room
The AirCeil™ converts a standard room, without major room renovations, into a negative pressure isolation room for patients known or suspected of having TB or other infectious diseases. Air passing through the HEPA filter is cleansed of 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 micron and may be exhausted directly to the exterior through a window or a wall simply by connecting flexible ducting to the 12 in. (305 mm) exhaust collar.

Flexible Clean Air Recirculation
Air enters the module through the room side intake grille, passes first through a prefilter, then through a HEPA filter before the purified air is recirculated back to the room through an optional 24 in. (610 mm) square Ceiling Air Diffuser. Strategic placement of both the AirCeil™ and the Ceiling Air Diffuser optimizes its ability to help protect either the patient or healthcare workers.

Space Saving Ceiling Mounted Design
The AirCeil™ installs directly into a 2 x 4 ft (595 x 1190 mm) T-bar ceiling grid system and other ceiling types, leaving critical floor space open. Units can be customized to fit metric grid sizes.

Remote Controlled Adjustable Airflow
Tamper resistant, hand held, remote speed controller* adjusts airflow from 400-650 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or 680-1105 m³/hr, while preventing unwanted airflow adjustments.

Room Air Changes Per Hour
Provides up to 22 room air changes per hour (ACH) in a typical 18 x 12 x 8 ft (5.5 x 3.7 x 2.4 m) patient room or 12 ACH for rooms up to 3,250 cubic feet. (92.0 cubic meters).

Simple Maintenance
The HEPA filter and prefilter are easily accessible from within the room for ease of replacement or maintenance by authorized personnel.

Quiet Operation
The AirCeil™ will not disturb others nearby - 50 to 55 dBA (ambient sound level < 40 dBA) measured 30 in. (762 mm) from the filter face.

HEPA Filter
Aluminum Framed HEPA type, with a minimum efficiency of 99.99% @ 0.3 micron, aerosol challenged (zero probed).

Prefilter
Woven polyester media in a removable frame extends the life of the HEPA filter.

An optional charcoal prefilter extends the life of the HEPA filter while removing unwanted odors.

Airflow
Variable speed provides between 400-650 CFM ±10%.

Control Panel
Airflow indicator light glows red when the AirCeil is running and green when on standby or while adjusting the airflow with the remote controller.

* One remote controller can be used on multiple units.
