Softwall
Cleanrooms Exceptionally
versatile and mobile, the Portable Process Isolation Module (PPIM) cleanroom's
structural support frame is a prefabricated design constructed of welded
tubular steel and finished with a white polyurethane enamel. The support
frame features a slip together "tongue and socket" design secured
by fasteners. Assembly, or disassembly for relocation purposes, is quick
and simple, requiring no special tools. The structural frame is self-supporting
requiring no additional bracing or support to the existing facility in most
cases. The modular design of the structural frame assembly permits modifications
and future expansion to be made easily. Locking casters are available for
the frame, making the module truly portable.
The ceiling grid system is manufactured in bolt-together sections. Each section incorporates several 2 ft x 4 ft (610 mm x 1,219 mm) openings in which the MAC 10 Fan Filter Units (FFU), cleanroom certified fluorescent light fixtures, or vinyl covered ceiling tiles are nested and gasket sealed to prevent by-pass air contamination. The number of MAC 10 units needed is determined by the size of the cleanroom and the number of total air changes required to achieve the desired level of cleanliness. The ceiling grid system is constructed of welded heavy-duty, structural steel angle finished with white polyurethane enamel. The perimeter of the cleanroom is enclosed with flexible vinyl curtains. Curtains are available in a variety of styles, colors and thicknesses. Features
